InformationThe "Stuttgarter Stadtachter" is a competition for eight class boats only. Stuttgart-Cannstatter Rowing Club starts in 1987 with this competition and spents the callenge trophy "Cannstatter Kanne". The aim of the Stuttgart-Cannstatter Rowing Club is to strenghten the character of rowing as a teamsport. The great pattern is the "Head of the River" London The competition is every year at the last weekend before easter. Races are available for schools, juniors, seniors, mixed and master rowers. Winner of the callenge trophy "Cannstatter Kanne" is the crew, winning the most racepoints of the day. Every team has to row two distances to row. Long distance 3200m; starting at the "Wilhelmsbrücke" at Stuttgart Bad-Cannstatt; Sprintrace close to the boathouse of the "Stuttgart-Cannstatter Ruderclub". Since 2006 callenge trophy "Heinz Fritsch Pokal" is advertised for sprint race. In the last years we rowers from different nations met at Stuttart. .Winner of the callenge trophy "Cannstatter Kanne"
